Joshua Tree Counseling reveals evolved logo and web presence
Joshua Tree Counseling, a mental health counseling service specializing in relationship counseling, mediation, mentoring and life coaching, last week revealed an evolved logo and web presence. The re-branding comes at a time when Joshua Tree is welcoming new clients to its practice based in its Fort Myers and Naples offices.
Spiro & Associates designed the logo and web presence reflective of Joshua Tree's corporate tagline "Life springs from the desert."
By modernizing Joshua Tree both visually and through social media platforms, the practice hopes to reach more people who are in need of mental health counseling services.

Hopebridge bringing autism therapy centers, early intervention services to Florida
To provide much needed support for Florida families, Hopebridge is bringing its vast experience into the state with up to 30 centers over the next 12- 18 months, starting along the Gulf Coast in Sarasota, St. Petersburg, Fort Myers and Brandon. The centers have begun scheduling diagnostic assessments for autism spectrum disorder and applied behavior analysis evaluations in August 2021, with a plan to open for full- and part-time therapy in October 2021.
By blending evidence-backed interventions like ABA therapy with other essential services like occupational and speech therapy, Hopebridge is able to provide a wide range of benefits to Florida's families living with autism.
According to research conducted by Hopebridge, nearly 25% of Florida children with autism waited longer than six months to be diagnosed. Hopebridge can reduce this wait with in-house clinical diagnostic assessments. Additional research shows that 50% of Florida autism families are on a wait list to receive therapy post-diagnosis.
Hopebridge's individualized center-based care offers:

Volunteers needed to lead senior health and wellness workshops
The Area Agency on Aging for Southwest Florida is seeking volunteers to lead health and wellness workshops in Charlotte, Collier, DeSoto, Glades, Hendry, Lee, and Sarasota counties. Volunteers have the opportunity to lead fitness and self-management workshops that are focused on the unique needs of older adults.
AAASWFL's workshops are designed to assist older adults with preventative measures to avoid falls, manage chronic conditions, and handle caregiver stress. AAASWFL provides free training for all programs with a commitment to lead the workshops on the Agency's behalf.
Workshops are facilitated in-person or virtually and are typically held on weekday mornings and afternoons, so volunteers with flexible schedules are appreciated.
Volunteers should be at least 18 years of age, have a valid drivers' license, and must be able to pass a background screening. While not mandatory, experience with teaching, instruction, public speaking, health care, nutrition, or community outreach is helpful.

Tenzel appointed human resources manager at Physician’s Primary Care
Physicians' Primary Care of Southwest Florida has appointed Melissa Tenzel as its new Human Resources Manager, effective Sept. 1.
Tenzel has served as the human resources generalist at Physicians' Primary Care since 2017. She succeeds Fran Barker, who is retiring after 21 years with the primary care practice.
Tenzel has more than 21 years of experience in human resources in government, healthcare, higher education and commercial enterprises. Prior to joining PPC, she worked in human resources in the administrative office to the courts of the 20th Judicial Circuit of Florida and as payroll manager at Florida SouthWestern State College.
Physicians' Primary Care of Southwest Florida, a physician-owned and operated medical practice, is celebrating its 25th anniversary of caring for Southwest Florida families.
