Wheeler graduates from Missouri State University
SPRINGFIELD, MO. — Missouri State University awarded 1,509 degrees to students in fall 2021. The commencement ceremonies took place Dec. 17, 2021, at JQH Arena in Springfield.
Gabriella Wheeler of Cape Coral graduated with a master of business administration.
Students who graduated with honors completed at least 30 credit hours with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5.

Southern Miss announces President's, Dean's lists for Fall 2021 Semester
The University of Southern Mississippi has released its President's and Dean's Lists for the 2021 fall semester.
The President's List includes full-time students who earned a perfect 4.0 grade point average (all A's). Dean's List scholars are those with at least a 3.5 grade point average, but less than a 4.0.
Students recognized Cape Coral include Brittany Nicole Hawkins, who was named to the President's List, and Douglas Tyler Hutchison, who made the Dean's List.

Hodges University Car Show March 5
Cars, from the classics to prototypes, will be on display during the Putting it in Gear Hodges University Car Show, with Title Sponsor Hertz. The event is being held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, March 5, on the University's Fort Myers Campus, at 4501 Colonial Blvd.
Admission is free and attendees will enjoy seeing a wide variety of vehicles, plus food trucks, music, raffle prizes — including gift cards to Top Golf and many others, plus a 50-50 drawing.
All proceeds will benefit the Dr. Peter Thomas Veterans Services Program at Hodges University.
