Cape Coral 34, Lemon Bay 26: The Seahawks (2-0) rolled up a 27-8 lead in the third quarter, then had to stave off a Manta Rays rally.
Lemon Bay had pulled within 27-20 by the end of the third.
Vinny Miranda caught his second touchdown pass of the night for a 34-20 Cape advantage in the fourth quarter. Lemon Bay scored again before the Seahawks defense throttled the Mantas’ final possession.
Cape Coral quarterback Derek Hooker had TD passes of 22 and 8 yards to Miranda, and ran 24 yards for another score. Cory Baker returned a punt 47 yards to the end zone, and Jermaine Skinner had a 6-yard run for a TD.

Cypress Lake 3, Mariner 2: The Tritons (3-1) came up just short in a marathon 25-20, 18-25, 24-26, 25-11, 16-14 Cypress Lake (3-2) victory.
