Oasis 83, Fort Myers 49: Zack Louzao led the Sharks to a big opening night win, scoring 17 points. Austin Louzao and Callihan Bexfield scored 11 points each and Carlos Barbara added 10 points.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
Oasis 38, For Myers 34: Fort Myers scored half its points in the final quarter, but the Sharks (1-0) held on for the win. Oasis led 27-14 at the half.
Cape Coral 39, LaBelle 37: The Seahawks opened the new season with a road win.
Golden Gate 42, Island Coast 37: Nevaeh Janet-Lynn Howard scored 11 points for the Gators (0-1).
North Fort Myers 36, East Lee County 30: Lily Erickson had 15 points and 9 rebounds, while Kelley Conley had 12 rebounds for the Red Knights. Gia Molloy added 9 rebounds.
GIRLS SOCCER
Oasis 6, SW Florida Christian 0: Arianna Cates and Madison Vetter each scored a goal and made an assist for the Sharks (3-1-3). Abigail Sykes, Marlayna Baas, Karla Theobald and Erin Vezzola had a goal each. Angelina Acevedo had a clean sheet in net.
Cape Coral 1, Fort Myers 1 (draw): The two District 5A-11 foes played to a tie on Monday. The win left the Seahawks 2-1-3 on the season.
BOYS SOCCER
Mariner 1, Immokalee 0: Aiden Mace made four saves for a shutout in net. Mariner’s goal was scored by Alesandro Gonzalez. The win gave the Tritons a 5-0-0 record.
SW Florida Christian 2, Oasis 1: Trey D’Auria scored in the 78th minute to pull the Sharks even, but a penalty kick shortly thereafter gave SWFC the win.
Cape Coral 1, Fort Myers 0: The Seahawks (2-2-2 overall) are 2-0 in District 5A-11.
