CCCIA presents ACE Awards at holiday celebration
Ramos Builders, ACRA Electric and IncredibleBank tops in respective categories

A celebration of those who excel in the construction industry was had last Friday in Cape Coral as part of an annual awards event doubling as a holiday celebration.
The Cape Coral Construction Industry Association held its annual ACE Awards at Palmetto-Pine Country Club. Awards were given for Contractor, Subcontractor and Affiliate of the Year, with three finalists for each category.
"These guys are true craftsman and professionals in the area," said CCCIA Executive Director Wade Kundinger. "They get to show off their expertise to buyers all the time, but I don't think the general public knows what their expertise is -- how good they are, the craftsmen that they are, the innovation. There are amazing builders and contractors in this area. These are the best in the business I've ever seen."
The finalists for business of the year were Poseidon Homes, Ramos Builders and Sinclair Custom Homes.
It was Ramos Builders taking home the award, with Kundinger saying while it was a tight race, they were very deserving of the award.
"It starts with customer service, of course, and Ramos is just customer service-centric," Kundinger said. "And when you throw in the high-end, quality product they produce, it was a no-brainer for our membership to choose Ramos as builder of the year.
"All of them were deserving for builder of the year."
Subcontractor of the year came down to ACRA Electric, Mechanical One and Stokes Marine, with ACRA taking home the award.
"ACRA is like old Cape Coral family," Kundinger said. "They're down-to-earth -- a family-owned business who treats every customer like family. They were an excellent fit for subcontractor of the year, and well-deserved since they've been in business for more than 50 years."
Affiliate of the Year finalists were Fuse Appliances, IncredibleBank and eAtlantic Engineering, with IncredibleBank winning.
"IncredibleBank time and time again is an outstandingly rated bank, with five-star ratings across the board," Kundinger said. "Their contributions to the CCCIA are ongoing and out front. They do quite a bit in our partnership that is unmatched, and our membership recognized that."
The night was celebrated in the theme of "Saturday Night Fever," with attendees enjoying an evening out celebrating their efforts.
"It was just time to celebrate our members, which is why we bring everyone together," Kundinger said. "It was a tremendous night with a lot of laughs. We're just so fortunate to live in this city and to work in this city and be part of this economic engine."
The 2026 Board of Directors was also revealed, which includes: Michael Greco of ACRA Electric, Taylar Gomer of Premier Cape Construction, James Williamson of WB Williamson, James Harasym of Fuse Appliances, Matthew Jasilwicz of Garage Door Works, Giovanni Ortiz of Aztec Irrigation and Landscaping and Ed Ramos of Ramos Builders.
