Team members at Christopher Alan Homes, Southwest Florida's top privately held single-family homebuilder based on single-family permits in 2024, helped brighten the holidays for vulnerable children and teens in Southwest Florida through a company-wide donation drive benefiting Youth Haven.

Organized by the company's culture committee, employees were invited to select holiday gift tags provided by Youth Haven, each listing a specific wish from a child or young adult served by the nonprofit. Requests included toys, clothing, electronics and gift cards for youth who have experienced abuse, neglect or homelessness. All donated gifts were delivered to Youth Haven Dec. 19.

"Supporting the young people served by Youth Haven is one meaningful way we can live out our commitment to our community," said Ian C. Schmoyer, chairman, president and CEO of Christopher Alan Homes. "Our team cares deeply about showing up for children who are facing incredibly difficult circumstances, and we're grateful for the opportunity to help bring a sense of comfort and joy this holiday season."

Youth Haven is Collier County's only emergency and residential shelter for children and teens ages 6 to 21 who have experienced abuse, neglect or homelessness. The nonprofit provides home, hope and healing through therapeutic services, trauma-informed care and comprehensive programs that help young people stabilize, grow and build brighter futures.
