Jefferies named to York College of Pennsylvania Dean's List for Fall 2025

YORK, Pa. -- Arianna Jefferies from Cape Coral has been named to the York College of Pennsylvania Dean's List for the Fall 2025 semester. Jefferies is majoring in health sciences.

To be eligible for this honor, a student must earn a semester grade point average of 3.5 or above while carrying a course load of at least twelve academic credit hours.

Established in 1787, York College of Pennsylvania is a private, four-year college located in the city of York. Barrett, Gonzalez named to Point Park University's Fall 2025 Dean's List

PITTSBURGH, Pa. -- More than 1,400 students who were named to the Fall 2025 Dean's List at Point Park University. Named to the list were Jordyn Barrett and Mia Gonzalez, both of Cape Coral.

To be named to the Dean's List, a student must have a 3.5 GPA.

Kabat earns spot on Iowa State University fall 2025 Dean's List

AMES, Iowa - More than 11,800 Iowa State University students have been recognized for outstanding academic achievement by being named to the 2025 fall semester Dean's List.

Students named to the Dean's List must earn a grade point average of at least 3.50 on a 4.00 scale while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded course work.

Among the students recognized was Cape Coral's Jessica L. Kabat, who is majoring in computer science.

Kenny earns fall 2025 Dean's List honors at SUNY New Paltz

NEW PALTZ, N.Y. -- SUNY New Paltz congratulates Jacob Kenny of Cape Coral for being named to the Dean's List for the fall 2025 semester.

Dean's List designation is reserved for students who excel academically and earn at least a 3.3 grade-point average in a semester with a full-time course load.

Buchanan named to South Dakota State University's fall 2025 dean's list

BROOKINGS, S.D. — South Dakota State University recently announced that Sara Buchanan of Cape Coral has been named to the dean's list for the fall 2025 semester.

Buchanan is a student in SDSU's College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.

To earn dean's list distinctions in SDSU's colleges, students must have completed a minimum of 12 credits and must have earned at least a 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale.

Founded in 1881, South Dakota State University confers degrees from seven different colleges representing more than 230 majors, minors and specializations. The institution also offers 39 master's degree programs, 17 Ph.D. and two professional programs.

Green graduates from Valdosta State University

VALDOSTA, Ga. — Alexis Green of Cape Coral has earned the bachelor of science in health science from Valdosta State University.

Green is among the more than 1,000 students who achieved their academic goals and graduated from VSU at the end of Fall 2025.

Cape Coral's Till honored as New Albion College Fellow

ALBION, Mich. -- Cape Coral student Rebecca Till was given the honor of Albion College Fellow at the end of the Fall 2025 semester.

The distinction of Albion College Fellow is reserved for students who maintain a GPA above 3.75 for three consecutive semesters.

Till is majoring in biology with a minor in biochemistry and is a member of the Prentiss M. Brown honors Program. Till is the child of Ryan and Marcy Till of Woodinville and is a graduate of Cedarcrest High School.

Lee University announces Dean's List for Fall 2025

CLEVELAND, Tenn. -- Lee University congratulates students who earned Dean's List honors during the Fall 2025 semester. Dean's List recognition is earned by full-time, undergraduate students with a semester grade point average between 3.7 and 4.00.

Cape's Burch named to Peach Belt Conference Fall 2025 All-Academic Team

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- Logan Burch a member of the Flagler College Men's Cross Country team from Cape Coral, was selected to the Peach Belt Conference Fall 2025 All-Academic Team, an honor that recognizes excellence in the classroom.

The recognition is part of the conference's broader initiative to highlight the academic achievements of student-athletes across the league.

To earn the distinction, nominees must be starters or key reserves with a minimum 3.50 cumulative grade point average, have competed in at least 50% of their team's contests at the listed position, and have completed one full calendar year at their current institution while holding sophomore academic and athletic standing.

Allen named to Mississippi State University's fall 2025 President's List

MISSISSIPPI STATE, Miss. — Sarah Allen of Cape Coral was named to the Mississippi State University fall 2025 President's List.

Students on the President's List achieved a 3.80 or better GPA, based on a 4.0 scale, while completing at least 12 semester hours of coursework with no incomplete grades or grades lower than a C.
