SOFTBALL
Oasis 3, Aubrey Rogers 2: Kyra Cavender threw a no-hitter, striking out 16, as the Sharks won an error-filled game. Aubrey Rogers had five errors and Oasis made four. Emma Neujahr drove in two of the Sharks’ three runs, with Meesa Neujahr having the third RBI. Cavender allowed one walk and two unearned runs over her seven hitless innings.
Gulf Coast 3, Cape Coral 0: Seahawks starter Emma Brannan got 12 of her 18 outs on strikeouts.
North Fort Myers 12, Barron Collier 4: Audrie Florenzano’s bases-loaded double provided three of her four RBI to lead the 3-0 Red Knights. Kaliyah Williams had two hits including a double, driving in two runs. Jordan Prado started, allowing four runs (one earned) and striking out nine. Williams struck out four in 2 1/3 hitless innings of relief.
Bishop Verot 7, Riverdale 6: Emma Hall hit into an RBI fielder’s choice in the bottom of the seventh inning, allowing Abby Goff to score the winning run for the Vikings. It was a wild seventh inning, with each team scoring four runs. Goff hit two doubles in the game, driving in three runs. Verot starter Paige Betterman struck out 11 Raiders batters over six innings but was not involved in the decision. She also had an RBI.
BASEBALL
Aubrey Rogers 7, Oasis 3: The Sharks slipped to 4-2 on the season.
Bishop Verot 8, Cardinal Mooney 0: Bishop Verot (5-0) held the Cougars to one hit over seven innings.
