Cape Coral residents can enjoy a movie night in the park next, week courtesy of the city's youth.
The Cape Coral Youth Council will host a Valentine's Day "Movie in the Park" on Feb. 13 starting at 6 p.m. at Cultural Park.
Attendees will enjoy an outdoor screening of the film "Clueless" starting at 7 p.m., and guests are encouraged to bring chairs and/or blankets.
Parking is free and tickets are $5 online or $7 in person (cash or credit card). The movie is PG13 and the event will end at 9 p.m.
Attendees can enjoy treats from four food trucks: Kona Ice, Dave's Neapolitan Pizza, Papa D's Cheesecake, and Pilar's Empanadas. There will also be popcorn for sale.
"People can bring chairs, blankets, and pillows to get cozy during the movie," said Emily Feichthaler, a senior member of the Cape Coral Youth Council. "It's going to be a night full of fun, romance, excitement, and relaxation."
All tickets purchased in advance will be automatically entered into a drawing for a $50 Chick-fil-A gift card. Tickets can be purchased by visiting www.tickets.completeticketsolutions.com/ccc/Online/default.asp.
