Cape Friends of Wildlife to meet Tuesday to discuss upcoming Burrowing Owl Festival

Cape Coral Friends of Wildlife invites the community to attend its next general meeting Tuesday, Feb. 10, at 7 p.m. at Rotary Park. The meeting will focus on final preparations for the Burrowing Owl Festival, scheduled for Feb. 28.
Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. for refreshments and networking.
The evening will begin with a brief business meeting, followed by an open discussion about the upcoming festival. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions, share ideas, and learn more about this signature community event.
Following the discussion, participants may meet with team leaders to review volunteer roles and assist with folding festival programs.
All Burrowing Owl Festival volunteers are strongly encouraged to attend. Those interested in volunteering can visit CCFriendsofWildlife.org and click on "Volunteer." Many volunteers are still needed to help ensure a successful event.

The Burrowing Owl Festival Wildlife and Environmental Exposition is an annual, family-friendly event that celebrates Cape Coral's wildlife while educating the community about local environmental resources.
Proceeds support the purchase and protection of wildlife habitat in Cape Coral.
