Caloosahatchee River Bridge message boards temporarily out of service

The message boards that display alternate route travel times for motorists traveling northbound towards the Caloosahatchee River Bridge on U.S. 41 are temporarily unable to provide travel time information. According to Lee County’s Department of Transportation, the message board was struck, severing the fiber optics that are a critical component used for the operation of the travel time device.
