CRA code enforcement may get boost

The city of Cape Coral is considering allocating a code enforcement officer to the South Cape to better control blight. The agreement between the city and the CRA is on Wednesday's Cape Coral City Council agenda for consideration. It would provide one code enforcement officer for patrolling coverage of the CRA. According to the agreement, the CRA would reimburse the city for actual costs and expenses. The measure is expected to pass as Council also acts as the CRA's board of commissioners.
