Why does Councilmember Jennifer Nelson-Lastra want to move the pool from the Yacht Club to the Old Golf Course?
This idea of hers will remove families from the Yacht Club. Families, back in the day, were able to use the pool, the beach, the playground. Spend the day. Moving the pool takes this away. There were plans floated before to take the Yacht Club and make it an entertainment district, bars, nightlife, no BEACH, no FAMILIES, no KIDS.
Is this her intent?
How about we build the Old Golf Course into the New Golf Course instead?
