Charlotte 5, North Fort Myers 2: A decisive Game 3 between top-seeded Charlotte and the eight-seeded Red Knights will be at North Fort Myers on Saturday. Junior Tome and Alejandro Velez Rodriguez drove runs for the Red Knights (16-11).
Braden River 7, Mariner 0: The Tritons end the season 17-12 after being swept by second-seeded Braden River. A day after Braden River needed four runs in the bottom of the seventh inning, the Pirates shut down the Tritons’ bats on Thursday. Morgan Waltz had two of Mariner’s three hits.
