North Fort Myers 4, Ida Baker 0: Rocerick Medina just missed a perfect game, allowing no hits, walks or runs. One Bulldogs (3-6) runner reached on an error. Medina struck out 11 batters. Caedon Conn had two RBI and Darrinson Rodriguez added one for the Red Knights (8-2).
Island Coast 1, Hardee 0: The Gators (9-2) held the Wildcats to one hit.
North Port 6, Mariner 5: The Bobcats walked it off with two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning. Xavier Muentes (2-for-3) drove in two runs for the Tritons (5-5). Morgan Waltz and Ethan Rodriguez had an RBI each, and PJ Marino had three hits.
First Baptist 8, Oasis 5: The Sharks slipped to 5-6.
Jesuit 2, Bishop Verot 1: Joey Lawson struck out 10 batters in 4 2/3 innings. Both runs against him were unearned. Anthony Reitler had a hit for the Vikings (9-2).
SOFTBALL
Ida Baker 6, Palmetto Ridge 2: Lilly Hawley and Alyssa Auver had two RBI each as the Bulldogs improved to 3-3. Kaiden Nealiegh allowed two runs (one earned) on four hits over seven innings. She had eight strikeouts.
Oasis 15, Gateway 1 (5 innings): Addison Hicks homered and drove in five runs for the Sharks (3-5). Meesha Neujahr went 3-for-3, good for three RBI. Nina Curasco (3-for-4) added two RBI. Kyra Cavender and Neujahr combined to hold Gateway to one run and one hit with 9 strikeouts and no walks.
Cape Coral 13, Babcock 3 (5 innings): Taylor Buice, Emma White and Jocelyn Slater drove in two runs each for Cape, including a Slater home run. Emma Brannan worked four no-hit innings, striking out eight.
North Fort Myers 10, Charlotte 1: Kaliyah Williams doubled and had three RBI for the Red Knights (7-0). Alison Smith and Audrie Florezano (3-for-4) had two RBI each. Williams allowed one unearned run over seven innings with eight strikeouts.
FLAG FOOTBALL
Mariner 52, Cape Coral 0: The Tritons rolled to their second win (2-0), keeping the Seahawks winless (0-3).
