Heritage Charter Academy of Cape Coral now enrolling students for 2021-22 school year
Heritage Charter Academy, a newly opened charter school in Cape Coral, is now accepting admissions for the 2021-2022 school year. Heritage Charter Academy, which is located at 2107 Santa Barbara Blvd, is a tuition-free charter school for students in grades K-8.
Heritage Charter Academy's mission is to provide exceptional education in a safe and caring environment. The curriculum at Heritage Charter Academy has a S.T.E.A.M. component, meaning the school has an approach to teaching and learning that integrates science, technology, engineering, the arts and math as ways to guide student inquiry, dialogue and critical thinking. Students in the S.T.E.A.M. program are taught to take thoughtful risks, engage in experiential learning, persist in problem-solving, embrace collaboration, and work through the creative process.

Spring Fair at Fenway South honors students, teachers, first responders
The Fair at Fenway South is honoring local high school seniors, teachers, faculty, staff and first responders/healthcare workers for its remaining two Fridays, June 4 and 11.
On Friday nights, admission is $1 for all Lee County School District graduating high school seniors, teachers, faculty, law enforcement, fire and rescue, healthcare workers and first responders with proper I.D. High school seniors can also show a photo of their graduation tickets.
The fair is also offering a special admission of $20 that includes all rides all night long on Thursday nights.
Fair hours are 5 to 11 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays, and 4 to 11 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
"We wanted to honor our local students, teachers and faculty as well as our first responders and healthcare workers who have really endured during the past year," said Brian Schuman, owner of Fair Productions. "There's so much to celebrate right now, with the end of school, the start of the summer season, and the return of so many of the nice things we missed out on last year."
Attendees will find all their fair favorites, including free entertainment, thrill and amusement rides, challenging games of skill, and delicious food trucks and vendors. Everything Southwest Florida has always known and loved about the Fair at Fenway will be featured again this spring.
Plenty of available on-site parking is available at JetBlue Park at 11500 Fenway South Drive in Fort Myers.

As always, the Fair at Fenway will donate a portion of the proceeds to the Jordan Schuman Foundation for Kindness, which provides grants, scholarships, and donations to charities and individuals in need within the local community.
