Central Penn College student Dulack awarded scholarship
SUMMERDALE, PA — Central Penn College Student Jenelle Dulack from Cape Coral was awarded the The Donald B. and Dorothy L. Stabler Foundation Endowed Scholarship by the college’s Education Foundation during the fall 2021 term. Dulack is majoring in at the career-focused institution located in Summerdale, Pa.
During the current fall term, 116 Central Penn College students were awarded $110,000 in scholarships by the college’s Education Foundation.
During the previous academic year (2020-2021), the foundation awarded $267,750 to 315 Central Penn students. Students can apply for scholarships in August and February; awards are then given in the fall and spring terms, respectively.

Gerke named Earn to Learn FL finance and human resources director
Earn to Learn Florida (ETLF), a 501(c)3 non-profit whose mission is to empower income-challenged students to complete college, announced that Rebecca Gerke has been named finance and human resources director.
Gerke joined Earn to Learn FL in 2016 as an accountant.
Earn to Learn FL empowers low-to-moderate income students in Florida to earn college degrees and professional certifications with little or no debt through matched savings, personalized financial capability training, and success coaching. In addition, eligible students who establish a habit of saving for higher education can receive matching funds for financial assistance provided by Earn to Learn FL supporters committed to enhancing workforce development and the economic well-being of Florida communities. FSW Collegiate High Schools earn top state ranks
Florida SouthWestern State College Collegiate High Schools (FSWC-Lee and FSWC-Charlotte) have ranked as the number 1 and number 4 high schools in the state, respectively, and received A grades for the 2020-21 school year.
The Florida Department of Education's school ranking data includes all high schools that have taken eight or more end-of-course exams and are ranked by percent possible.
FSWC-Lee provides a STEM focused learning environment that is dedicated to creating and sustaining the independent learning process with a focus on helping students construct knowledge through projects, hands on activities, and academic debate/discussion. An integral part of the school's mission is to connect qualified and motivated students to maximizing their college dual enrollment options.
