Carlson inducted into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi
Robert Carlson of Cape Coral was recently initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society. Carlson was initiated at University of Florida.
Carlson is among approximately 25,000 students, faculty, professional staff and alumni to be initiated into Phi Kappa Phi each year. Membership is by invitation only and requires nomination and approval by a chapter. Only the top 10 percent of seniors and 7.5 percent of juniors are eligible for membership. Graduate students in the top 10 percent of the number of candidates for graduate degrees may also qualify, as do faculty, professional staff and alumni who have achieved scholarly distinction.
Phi Kappa Phi was founded in 1897 under the leadership of undergraduate student Marcus L. Urann who had a desire to create a different kind of honor society: one that recognized excellence in all academic disciplines. Today, the Society has chapters on more than 325 campuses in the United States, its territories and the Philippines. Its mission is “To recognize and promote academic excellence in all fields of higher education and to engage the community of scholars in service to others.”

Duys, Maxwell named to 2021 Dean’s List at Southern New Hampshire University
Southern New Hampshire University has announced that the following students from Cape Coral have been named to the Fall 2021 Dean’s List: Katrina Duys and Jennifer Maxwell.
Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.500 to 3.699 are named to the Dean’s List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits; undergraduate day students must earn 12 credits in the fall or spring semester, and online students must earn 12 credits in either EW1 & EW2, EW3 & EW4, or EW5 & EW6.

Chun, Cubbage named to Lehigh University Dean’s List for fall 2021
Clarissa Chun and Alexander Cubbage, both of Cape Coral, are among the students at Lehigh University who attained Dean’s List in Spring 2021. This status is granted to students who earned a scholastic average of 3.6 or better while carrying at least 12 hours of regularly graded courses.

Kacoyanis named to President's List, Williams named to Dean's List for UA Fall 2021 Term
A total of 11,979 students enrolled during the fall 2021 term at The University of Alabama were named to the dean’s list with an academic record of 3.5 (or above) or the president’s list with an academic record of 4.0 (all A’s).
Among those recognized were Maria Kacoyanis of Cape Coral, who was named to the Presiden'ts List, and Blake Williams of Cape Coral, who was named to the Dean's List.

Holloway makes Fall 2021 Dean’s List at Georgia Southwestern State University
Hannah Holloway, a resident of St. James City, made the Fall 2021 Dean’s List at Georgia Southwestern State University and was among 606 students recognized for scholastic achievement.
To be eligible for the Dean’s List, a student must earn a semester GPA of 3.5 or better and take a minimum of 12 credit hours.

Sinclair named to Troy University Provost’s List for Fall Semester/Term 2 of 2021/2022 academic year
Sarah Sinclair of Matlacha Isles has been named to the Provost’s List at Troy University for the Fall Semester/Term 2 of the 2021-2022 academic year.
The Provost’s List honors full-time undergraduate students who are registered for at least 12 semester hours and who have a grade point average of at least 3.65.
