Oasis Charter Schools receive STEM award
The city of Cape Coral Oasis Charter Schools was recognized recently as the International Technology and Engineering Educators Association 2021-22 STEM Schools of Excellence.
Oasis Charter Schools is one of 11 public and private schools nationwide to receive the prized ITEEA award, which honors outstanding schools that are committed to providing a robust, integrative STEM program.
Superintendent Jacquelin Collins said Oasis Middle has been recognized for its outstanding commitment to providing Cape Coral students with an engaging and progressive STEM education program that is effective and measurable.
Oasis Middle School is home to over 800 students who all receive STEM-centered coursework.
ITEEA's mission is to promote technological literacy for all by supporting the teaching of technology and promoting the professionalism of those engaged in these pursuits.

Kearney named to fall 2021 dean’s list at SUNY Delhi
DELHI, NY — SUNY Delhi has recognized Jessica Kearney of Cape Coral for her academic achievement and being named to the dean’s list for the fall 2021 semester. Kearney is pursuing a degree in veterinary technology at the college.
The dean’s list is a recognition of students who enrolled in six or more credits and earned a 3.5 or higher grade-point average for the semester.
SUNY Delhi’s hands-on approach to teaching and learning includes over 60 academic programs in specialized areas, including applied technologies, nursing, hospitality, veterinary sciences, applied sciences, business, and liberal arts and sciences. SUNY Delhi offers certificates, associate degrees, bachelor’s degrees, as well as master’s degrees in a combination of on-campus and online settings.
