STEMLab Summer Camps
Located at Miromar Outlets in Estero, STEMLab is offering Camp IMAG Summer Camps where students learn and have fun with a variety of topics ranging from Science and Technology to Engineering and Math. Camps are designed for rising third through fifth grade students beginning the week of June 6 through the week of Aug. 8.
Camp IMAG Summer Camps at the STEMLab, offer campers inspiring weekly-themed sessions that include Rocket Scientists, Wizard School, Critter Keepers, Build-a-Bot, Mini Makers, Jedi Academy, Backyard Scientists, and more. In addition to hands-on activities, games, arts, and crafts, each camp offers the IMAG experience weekly with museum explorations at the IMAG that include science shows, live animal encounters, touch-tank experiences, and more to inspire the imagination and encourage a lifelong love of learning with campers.
Inspired by the IMAG History & Science Center of Fort Myers, STEMLab is a new, vibrant, and imaginative space at Miromar designed for the whole family and especially for summer campers to enrich their experiences and understanding of STEM education.
In addition to the sessions offered at STEMLab in Estero, Camp IMAG is also available at the IMAG History & Science Center in Fort Myers and select elementary schools in your area. Van Horn on Dean’s List at Palmer College of Chiropractic
DAVENPORT, Iowa — Bryce Van Horn of Cape Coral has been named to the winter 2022 quarter Dean’s List at Palmer College of Chiropractic’s Florida campus in Port Orange, Florida.
Palmer College of Chiropractic, the first and largest college in the chiropractic profession, has campuses in Davenport, Iowa; San Jose, California; and Port Orange, Florida.
Dunkle earns Dean’s Award with Distinction at Colgate University
HAMILTON, N.Y. — Cosette Dunkle, a member of the Colgate University Class of 2023, has earned the Fall 2021 Dean’s Award with Distinction.
Dunkle is an educational studies major from Cape Coral, and is a graduate of Canterbury School.
Students who receive a term grade point average of 3.6 or higher while completing at least three courses during the Fall 2021 semester earn the Dean’s Award with Distinction.

Huntingdon recognizes 2021-2022 student leaders
Huntingdon College's Office of Student Development is recognizing students who have served in leadership roles for the 2021-2022 academic year.
"Students don't just go to Huntingdon, they become Huntingdon through the many ways in which they engage in the life of the College," stated senior vice president for student and institutional development and dean of students Anthony Leigh. "Through student organizations, athletic teams, and leadership roles on campus, Huntingdon students build their resumes and their network of connections, test their leadership talents, and form friendships and memories that will last throughout their lives."
Katlyn Harrison (class of '23) of Cape Coral is one of the Huntingdon Student Recruiters, who assist the Office of Admission by conducting campus tours and welcoming prospective students and families, conveying the family atmosphere that exists on campus.
