The School District of Lee County has announced that students entering the district in August 2025 can enroll and re-enroll beginning Tuesday, Oct. 29. Florida SouthWestern State College will not hold any classes on Monday, Oct. 14, due to ongoing power and internet outages, as well as the continued return of community members from evacuations. While no classes will take place, the college will be open, and students can return to the residence hall starting at noon. Normal operations and classes will resume on Tuesday, Oct. 15.
