The Thespians Club Troop 1524 at Cape Coral High School is presenting a showcase today, Friday, May 21, and Saturday, May 22, at 7 p.m. The group will present one act from the play “All I Really Need to Know I Learned by Being in a Bad Murder Mystery” by Werner Trieschmann. Grace McGugan is the student director for the one act, with Mr. Torres as director. On Tuesday, May 18, The Foundation for Lee County Public Schools celebrated the induction of 35 new students in the Take Stock in Children Program. Students who successfully complete the program are awarded a four-year tuition scholarship upon graduation from high school. Students are paired with a caring adult mentor to help guide them on their pathway to college success and beyond.
