Alzheimer Association’s LGBTQ Caregiver Support Group meets third Tuesday of the month

The Alzheimer Association’s LGBTQ Caregiver Support Group will meet virtually the third Tuesday of every month, from 2-3:30 p.m., starting Jan. 17 and continuing until Sept. 17, 2024.

Alzheimer’s Association caregiver support groups, conducted by trained facilitators, are a safe place for caregivers, family and friends of persons with dementia who identify as LGBTQ to develop a support system; exchange practical information on caregiving challenges and possible solutions; talk through issues and ways of coping; share feelings, needs and concerns; and learn about community resources.

The group is hosted by Lambda Living of Jewish Community Services of South Florida.
