Southwest Florida seniors receive Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine at Gulf Coast Village

Senior Choice at Home members joined Gulf Coast Village residents in receiving their first doses of Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine last Wednesday. Through a partnership with Walgreens, Volunteers of America – sponsors of Gulf Coast Village and Senior Choice at Home – was able to secure vaccines at no cost to residents and members. Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida, in partnership with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southwest Florida, offers a free monthly autism spectrum disorder screening for toddlers 18 months to five years of age. The next screening will be held on Jan. 22, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Pediatric Specialist Office, 15901 Bass Road, Suite 102, Fort Myers.
