Surveillance is invading privacy in Cape Coral

To the editor: The city of Cape Coral is using cameras to monitor our everyday life and it is eroding personal privacy as a result. There is the use of cameras at school zones to monitor every car that enters a school zone for compliance of the speed limit along with the school district’s cameras on school buses to monitor whether or not you are violating the requirement to stop when appropriate. Election legislation should not impede eligible voters

To the editor: I am a resident of Lee County and I am writing regarding HR22. While election integrity is important, I am concerned that having birth certificate requirements, name change proof and expanded voter challenges could intentionally prevent eligible voters from registering or remaining on the rolls and not being allowed to vote.
