To the editor: In all probability, my own party (the LPF) will not be offering a gubernatorial candidate in 2026, so I will have to shop elsewhere.  People keep saying that Casey DeSantis may be a candidate for governor next year.  They also say she is “no Lurlene Wallace,” no mere stand-in for her husband, not his puppet.  Frankly, I know nothing about her. To the editor: The reason we have not heard about Trump’s healthcare plan that he has been speaking of the past 10 years —  it is in the making. The reason for the shutdown government is because Trump told the House not to pass the Democrats’ bill. Democrats want to keep ACA, the “Affordable Car Act,” alive. It is to run out at year’s end. Republicans say it is for illegal immigrants, which is a lie. Obama got discount drugs as in diabetics insulin, for one.
