To the editor: I am writing to oppose the development known as Redfish Pointe. I am not opposed to all development — without development I would not be able to enjoy my beautiful Cape Coral house (the interior totally re-done after Hurricane Ian.) But this is no longer the 1950s. Hurricanes are not the same. The density of building and loss of wetlands and mangroves are not the same.
