To the editor: Trump's appointee Hegseth ordered a halt to U.S. operations to stop Russian cyber attacks. Last year my bank had to shut down its website after Russia hacked into mortgage accounts for thousands of Americans. Russia has been hacking into banks, the U.S. power grid and even oil pipelines.
