To the editor: My wife and I and friends attended the Cape Coral Bike Night last Friday evening and we were all disappointed. Bike Night should be about the enjoyment of looking at all the different kinds of bikes and how they are customized, as well as watching them drive down the street. Vendors, food, and the bands are a great addition, but the bikes re reason people go. The big disappointment came when we got there and couldn’t find bikes. To the editor: Elon Musk has gained control of critical payment systems at the U.S. Treasury. Musk, an unaccountable private citizen, who regularly talks to Putin, is acting under the authority of would-be dictator Trump. Musk has access to the very lifeline of our Republic: the money.
